In 2016 our founder and captain, Skip, asked us to do a summer fishing trip to Block Island, RI. During the inaugural trip, we decided to make the fishing trip an annual commitment. (One of us even quit his job to keep the tradition) In the summer of 2022, we lost our beloved Skipper. So, in 2023 we began a new chapter with a new captain- Skip’s son. License To Eel was born on his boat and in his father's memory. We are the everyman’s gear: Blood stained, a little smelly and a lot committed.
